About Jerry & Karen Evans & Children Safety Signs

In 1995 the neighbors on our block in a small Northern California town, petitioned for our city to install a CHILD SAFETY SIGN ON OUR STREET.

We were told, that in order to do this, it would  cost  approximately $340. The city said that they just didn’t have the additional funds to do this.  Also, if they installed one on our street, they would have to do it for every other street.

The city manager told us that if we wanted to install a Childrens Safety Sign, we should do it ourselves.

Later on that fall, we witnessed a local  child, riding his bike, get run over , by a car at the end of our street.

Luckily, the child sustained minor injuries in the accident,( a broken Leg and Lacerations.)

It was very traumatic to witness, and  prompted my wife and I to come up with a way for every Parent, and concerned citizen to be able to purchase an Affordable Childs Safety Sign.

It took several years of sourcing raw materials, and even to find a screen printer able to print the signs.

Eventually, we succeeded in producing 3  Aluminum signs designed to be installed on fence posts and other free standing poles, and 1 corrugated Driveway sign that is free-standing. 

All are affordably priced to the consumer.
